The 4 log posts to this custom log furniture bed were collected from a cleared homesite burn pile in the Lobster Valley area near Alsea, Oregon. The log beds posts were seasoned for 7 years prior to creating this rustic log beds piece. |

The top cross logs in the arched headboard and footboard came from the Wade Cox Century Farm located on Knox Butte near Albany, Oregon. They were the bottom branches of a huge landmark cedar tree that blew over in a freak wind gust. This log beds upright posts are "gray" Lodgepole pine from the Olive Lake area near Granite, Oregon.
