The log beds posts were seasoned

for 7 years prior to creating this rustic log beds piece.

The top cross logs in the arched headboard and footboard came from the Wade Cox Century Farm located on Knox Butte near Albany, Oregon.

They were the bottom branches of a huge landmark cedar tree that blew over in a freak wind gust.

This log beds upright posts are "gray" Lodgepole pine from the Olive Lake area near Granite, Oregon.

The beds side rails are haymow joists from a barn, built in 1905 on the old Bryant Place near Tangent, Oregon.
